Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the HISAR platform, website and services (together, the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Platform on behalf of an organisation, you accept these Terms on its behalf. Please also read our Privacy Policy.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account, accessing or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. The service

HISAR provides AI-based geospatial intelligence tools, including image geolocation, satellite imagery review and change detection. Outputs are analytical estimates provided for informational purposes and may contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for independently verifying results before relying on them for any decision.

3. Accounts & eligibility

• Accounts are provided to authorised organisational users; public self-registration is not offered.
• You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding contract.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Break the law or infringe the rights of others;
• Upload content you do not have the right to use;
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Platform;
• Use the Platform to harass, conduct unlawful surveillance, or violate privacy or export-control laws;
• Resell or provide access to the Platform without our authorisation.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you upload. You grant HISAR a limited licence to process that content solely to provide the Platform to you. You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit the content and that its processing complies with applicable law.

6. Intellectual property

The Platform, including its software, models, interface and design, is owned by HISAR and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the rights expressly granted to you, no licence is given. The "HISAR" name and marks may not be used without our prior written permission.

7. Availability & changes

We may modify, suspend or discontinue features of the Platform at any time. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

8. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of results. Geospatial outputs are probabilistic and must not be treated as verified fact without independent confirmation.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HISAR will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on Platform outputs. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Platform in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold HISAR harmless from claims, damages and expenses arising out of your misuse of the Platform or your breach of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to protect the Platform or other users. You may stop using the Platform at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers and limitation of liability, will survive.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
